Midnight madness: Hot sake on a wintery evening at Mt Fuji

I call this collection midnight madness because I started painting these at midnight. This is no 2 in a series of 6 which I did during lockdown.
For me, its always hot sake on a wintery night to keep me warm and cheery. We can’t travel for probably a while, but we all have good travel memories of far away places we can tap into. Cheers. Kampai. Have a happy weekend 🍶

I haven’t been posting much here cos I’ve taken the month off from my art.
I just spent almost a week in Thailand visiting friends and to attend Wonderfruit festival, an art, music, wellness and ideas festival with a focus on sustainability and building a global community.

It was a fun filled memorable and magical 4 days of partying, dancing, wondering through the fields of Thailand from sunset to sunrise 🌅

Yesterday was a good visit to the temple to say a prayer and to pay respect to my ancestors. Some days I go in feeling unsettled but I always come out feeling at peace and blessed.
This trip I also want to say a big thank you to the temple for giving me a very special gift which I have been searching for a while now. I am thankful 🙏

Happy Chap Goh Mei. Today is the 15th and final day of Chinese new year celebrations. It falls on the snow moon and this auspicious day is also our Chinese Valentine’s day.
Today was such a joyful day chasing lions and dragons with Chelsia Ng 🤗
I’m so sad that the lunar new year celebrations have come to an end, but I do hope the year of the pig will be a whole year of celebrating happiness, success and love for us all.
And yes, we believe in magic and unicorns 🍊🌕💛🎑💚🙏
