Today’s sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is a wooden mailbox I came across one day on my walks around my hometown of Penang. This is so old school. A wooden mailbox. I love receiving letters, cards, parcels through the mail. It’s become very rare these days, which makes it extra special when I do receive something! (except for bills)
Today’s sketch in my moleskine art journal is a pink flamingo. I just love them and they make me happy. I want to be a pink flamingo. xoxo
What do you want to be?
Sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is of my friend’s polaroid camera. I looked at it and thought of the quote, you have more than one shot in life. I know I do. I’m going to try and try to live it and do my best. If I fail, I will try and try again.
Have an awesome week and maybe try something new! xoxo
Sketch today in my #moleskine art journal is musa coccinea flower or red flowering banana flower. It is a tropical plant. This botanical illustration was a challenge by Award winning Artist Sharon Siew of Sharonsskow Pencil Art
I added a positive quote: Nature does not hurry. I am back on my little island of Penang and enjoying island life. Stress is bad for your health. Remember to take time off and be with nature. Nature heals and feeds your soul xoxo
I based this sketch from Wikipedia because I have never seen on before.
This sketch in my Moleskine art journal is of my morning breakfast. Pink dragonfruit is a really food anti oxidant. With the lifestyle I lead, I am really conscious of the food I take. I eat a lot of tropical fruits and fresh salads and nuts. They are great subjects for me to sketch as well!
Happy healthy eating xoxo
This is another sketch I did in my moleskine art journal in Uluwatu, Bali. This cat is my friend Ivy’s cat who is always up to something. He’s not really evil but like to scheme. He follows me into the kitchen and looks for food and attention. I guess he’s just being himself ;p
I was a week in Bali. This sketch of Balinese condiments in my moleskine art journal was done after my surf lesson in Canggu. I went to the local warung (cafe) and had a muesli with fruits and yoghurt for brunch.
My recent trip to Bali was on Malaysian Airlines. Despite all that has happened I still support them. This is a sketch of the plane in my moleskine art journal whilst waiting in the lounge for my flight. I love to draw wherever I go. I only loaded the sketches now because I was limited to wifi where I was. You will see them here this week xx
