Since I finished my sketch of the day challenge, I’ve started painting again. I started this ages ago but never finished it until now. This is the start of my botanical series of paintings I’ve been working on.

Petai is a local bean which is an acquired taste because it has a really strong taste. I love it but it makes me smell after ;p

We don’t have Mistletoe around here. As a bit of a laugh, I suggested doing this for Christmas. Petai, is out local stinky bean. It is delicious and it comes in bunches like this. It would be our local equivalent of hanging it by the door at Christmas ;p

This is a local stinky bean. An acquired taste. You can either eat it raw, but not that many or cooked with chilli and garlic. It’s slightly bitter in taste, and smells wierd. The more you eat it the better it gets. I started off not liking it very much, but now i think it’s delicious, but you do kind of pong after unfortunately (for your friends)  ;p
