There are lots of long tail macaques in Penang. They live in the forest and in the botanical gardens but they travel wherever they want so sometimes we find them in the garden. Marcel lives in the Botanical garden and he is not afraid of humans.
I’m adding previous sketches to the peonies background as a collection of new art works. I’m thinking of making them into posters to sell. Possibly a range of animals, retro automobile and vintage objects. So many ideas, so little time. I have to learn how to prioritize and be more organized so I can actually get some projects done! I wish I could just draw without having to think of the business side. I don’t know how other people do it. I’m always amazed.
I’m done with horses. Today’s sketch of the day is of the classic Fiat 550 in colour with peonies.
Have a lovely weekend xoxo
I have been confusing my friends since I have been posting Chinese New Year greetings way before the day. Well, today is officially the Chinese New Year, Year of the wooden Horse. So it is only apt that Camiseta wanted to be involved in wishing everyone Gong Xi Fat Choy! Happy New Year! x
Gong Xi Fatt Choy! Happy Chinese New Year xx
On the theme of Chinese New Year. Here’s a coloured sketch of Chinese brushes with peonies.
This is a vintage Nonya or Peranakan Jar with peonies. They were probably used for soup and ordered for wedding celebrations.
I’m finally working my way through my line drawings and adding in the colour. Happy Sunday 🙂
