Today’s sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is of a Turkish ornamental sultan rooster from the same farm as George the goose in Beysehir, Konya in Turkey.
Prized for its decorative plumage and puffy crests and long tails. They were kept by the Ottoman Sultans in the imperial gardens hence it’s name. It is the weirdest and most unusual looking chicken I have ever met.
I need to add the words ‘I AM NOT A FEATHER DUSTER’ so that there is no mistake.

I normally dont draw people but this is a request from my #instagram friend Alisha who wanted to give something special to her cousin Katie who’s turning 8 on the 23rd April. She loves Frozen so this is a birthday card I drew for her from Istanbul.

I love pineapples and as I mentioned yesterday, kitschy things. I’m sitting on a tropical island and all I can think of is having another pineapple shake! So here we go, sketch of a pineapple to make my day brighter. Hope it brightens your day too!

Sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal are red fruits. Berries, cranberries and watermelon. I love my daily dose of fruits and juices, it’s part of my vegetarian lifestyle. I’ve created a little mix pattern here. I’m loving my set of sharpie pens to add colour to my drawings. I don’t know how I can live without them now! I love colour and happy art that makes me smile!
I guess I’m just a kitschy sort of girl ;p
