It’s so easy to give up when the going gets tough. I’ve wanted to give up so many times. Sometimes It’s hard work to keep going but I can’t imagine doing anything else.

Chrysanthemum flower in oil pastels on paper. In chinese culture the chrysanthemum flower is a symbol of longevity and is the flower of the 9th lunar month. During Chong yang Festival which falls on the 9th day of the ninth lunar month, chrysanthemum wine is drunk in celebration of long life.

This week I’m dedicating flowers to the strong women in my life. I don’t thank my friends and family enough or tell them why they are important to me in my life, so I’m taking this opportunity during lockdown to remedy this
