Today’s sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is a Darth vadar hot air balloon.
I went on a hot air ballooon on Saturday with some friends in the Padang polo, Penang. There was a hot air balloon fiesta over the weekend, organised by Penang tourist board. It is the first time that we’ve had hot air balloons here.
Only 180 tickets were available for each session. There were a total of 4 sessions over 2 days. O yeah, we queued in the hot tropical sun for those tickets and I don’t regret it. We brought Noah, my friend’s 7 year old and the look on his face was priceless!!!

Sketch of the day no 500 in my art journal: Hola! I feel so alive.
Today is a huge milestone for me. 500 sketches and still going. I remember my first few sketches almost 2 years ago. I was in provence when my mentor Floating Lemons inspired me to start this sketch a day challenge. To be honest, I was happy completing my first week of sketches and never did I think that I would still be sketching today. It goes to show how strong an engine passion is. ♡

Today’s sketch are some colourful flags on the beach. I had an interesting thought about these flags as I am posting this up. Maybe instead of having decorative flags there should be warning flags to indicate the sea conditions. Just saying..

I am back from my adventure to Sarawak, East Malaysia.
This cute little travel cutlery set was given to me by my friend Chelsia who inspired me to go on this adventure. This was the first sketch I did in Sarawak in my moleskine art journal. It was just too cute!
I couldn’t load the drawings up because we were off the grid. There was no internet access and barely and phone coverage. It was truly liberating.

This is the final one for Spoonchallenge Daily sketch challenge for Spoonflower in my #moleskine. The Prompt is Portrait. I’m not a fan of drawing people because I’m really not great at it. This does not look anything like me but what the heck, at least I tried and I have now completed this challenge!! 🙂
