Today is my father’s birthday and i wish to dedicate this drawing in his memory and also to say a little prayer:
Dear dad,
Wishing you a happy birthday today up in heaven and i hope all is well.
It’s finally the year 2020 here. The world is still a dystopian one, but thank you for allowing me to dream.
The gift to dream is your legacy to me,
the bestest gift anyone could give,
the bestest dad anyone could be,
I love you always, the bestest dad for me ❤️ Day 19/30 COVID-19 lockdown in Malaysia.

Today is day 14/30 of covid-19 lockdown. We’re now halfway through, and finally I feel that i have eased into the rhythms of staying home and appreciating nature from my balcony. I’m grateful for having a balcony to get some illusions of being outdoors.
Sketch of the day no 1324 in my moleskine sketchbook is of Kelly the Kingfisher.
She doesn’t actually come to my balcony often but i can always see her in the distance, sitting on a tree, or flitting around, always alert. She’s a good hunter.
