Van Gogh in Britain art exhibition at Tate Britain, London.

I went to check out the Van Gogh in Britain exhibition at Tate Britain, London.

It is quite a large exhibition with more than 50 works by Van Gogh but the exhibition includes quite a lot of works of artists who has influenced Van Gogh during his stay in England and who he in turn influenced.

It is interesting to see some of the influences and comparison to better understand his works and his life but there aren’t as many of his major works as I had imagined there to be.

Van Gogh and Britain is at Tate Britain, London, until 11 August

Treasures of a Straits Chinese. A solo art exhibition by Penang artist Tiffany Choong opening at G hotel Gurney 1 Feb 2018

Treasures of a Straits Chinese art exhibition at G hotel Gurney art gallery, Penang

Treasures of a Straits Chinese.

My long awaited first solo exhibition opens in 2 days at the prestigious G hotel Gurney Penang.

The journey has taken a long time. I had to wait for the sun, moon and stars to align. It’s been exciting, exhausting, nerve wrecking, a roller-coaster of emotions and to top it off, it’s going to be full moon.

I don’t know about you but the full moon drains my energy, in a good way.

Time for new beginnings… 🌕

The Enchanted Tree House by Sandra Lee at the National Gallery Singapore

I recently visited the newly opened National Gallery in Singapore to check out my talented artist friend’s interactive art exhibition and play space. The Enchanted Tree House by Sandra Lee is definitely worth a visit. It is part of the Keppel Centre for Art Education located on Level 1 of the building.

The building is the historical former Supreme Court and City Hall buildings restored and redesigned to form the National Gallery.
