Good Morning!
Sketch of the day in my art journal is Bastet the cat goddess from the British Museum collection. She is also known as the Gayer-Anderson cat.
She is the goddess of cats, protection, joy, dance, music, family and love.
This photo shows my morning ritual. I wake up, make coffee, check my mail. Today I received my moleskine sketchbooks from the book depository. Thank you my friends who suggested that I shop online! After flaffing around, I settle down and I sketch. Take a photo of it, post it on here. When I’m done I go out and I read on the tube to make the journey faster! I’m currently reading silk for the feed dogs by Jackie Mallon.
Et voila, my morning ritual done.
Have a lovely day everyone xx
I have started to paint and commissioned series of 4 dog paintings. So I havent left my house in days and I don’t plan to until I finish.
Here’s a another sketch from the garden. Sketch of the day in my Daler Rowney art journal is of a Zebra Dove. There are so many along the driveway. They like to hide amongst the flowers low to the ground.
Peace and Love to you all xoxo
