Lockdown cabin fever has been getting to me. I have my ups and downs but it’s definitely important to be aware of what’s happening sooner than later. I’ve just finished my 2 week wobbly.
Thank you for the portrait of the week painting series to set me straight every Sunday. Today’s portrait of the week is of journalist Jon Snow. I definitely feel much saner after this painting session.
It’s a quick portrait before Sunday dinner. I’m not going to touch it anymore because I find I tend to overwork them.

2020 has been an extremely challenging year for everyone. I took this year with all the time in lockdown and time between lockdowns to focus on my artwork. It has turned out to be the most prolific year of my career and the year is not over yet. This year has shown me what I can achieve when I set my mind to it and stay focused on the goal.

Happy Friday and I can’t believe how time has flown by and its the weekend already.

I thought I was done with the pet portrait commissions but I’m bringing them back as and when I have some requests.
For the pet portrait series, I am collaborating with singer songwriter Chelsia Ng to produce a drawing of your pet in my sketchbook and a video with music of the drawing process.

Day no 56 of covid-19 lockdown in Malaysia. We have another month of partial movement control. The only joy for me is to go for long walks after being trapped in my tiny apt for so long. What are you looking fowards to? 🌈 ⭐
