Today’s sketch of the day is of the pot of Variegated Oregano from my best friend’s garden to add to my collection of indoor plants. If I cannot go out to play, at least my apartment has become a little oasis of calm with lots of plants that I can enjoy whilst stuck in lockdown.
Who knew that 1.5 years later, I would still be trapped in my tiny apt. We’ve had moments of partial freedom but the bulk of the time has been pretty much been in lockdown isolation for me. I’ve never in my life spent so much time in one place. I’m used to moving around every 2 to 3 weeks. I took my old life for granted.
The biggest revelation is that I really have enjoyed not moving or travelling and having a routine, something I never thought I would ever say.
Bring it on Slow living. I embrace you fully.(for now I say) 😁

Thanx Rob!! I would love to have an organic herb garden except the insects get to them all the time like an open buffet

Plants and herbs definitely add “spice” to life. (And cooking). You’re right, our lives have changed. And I agree about “slow living”. Working on that… 💕🙏🏻
