In my mind, and in my dreams, I would love to create an illustrated book of Malaysian wildlife. It may take a while, it may not come to anything but I will start with a few of the amazing wildlife that we have. The mouse deer is something of a childhood memory like elephants and tigers that you read about in books. It is the smallest hoofed mammal and only grows to 18 inches in size. In children’s stories, Sang Kancil is alive because of its shrewdness and wit. I’ve always loved this small creature but have yet to spot one as they are shy nocturnal animals.
Sketch of the day 1489 in my moleskine sketchbook is of the lesser mouse deer.

It is a fantastic project. Not an idea. Not a dream. A project. I’m sure you can get support from your contacts. If I recall, you have already done art for conservation organizations? Toni the Tiger would certainly support you. How can I help?
