The story of the Chinese Diaspora in Penang must speak directly to your heart. Orhan Pamuk is the Turkish writer, right. Never read him. Will consider the book. Thank God for Amazon, though I do miss browsing in the Paris bookstores or the boxes along the Seine. 📚

I just finished the Kings Chinese, about the Chinese Diaspora in Penang. Before that I read Orhan Pamuk, the red haired woman. I do enjoy his writing.

Boring and demotivating pretty much sums it up. And no interstate means no magic house in Georgetown. Very sorry about that. But the bright days will come back. Are you reading any good book currently? (Bored of my own set) 🤣

Not too bad as we are allowed to go out now except no interstate but ya it’s boring and demotivating. Totally crazy 🤪

I think the person choosing the rooms have a good eye to pick the really interesting ones. I’m enjoying them a lot.
