Tuna is known as chicken of the sea so I guess this nostalgic makes brand makes sense.
However, after googling the origin of the brand, the rooster logo becomes clear. Founded in 1892 by Alfred Clouet, the rooster is actually a symbol of France π«π·ππ«π·

An illustrated sardine can!!– this is definitely the best thing I will see today!! Lovely detail and a great example of how an artist can turn everyday objects into beautiful art. π

The chicken of the sea? I love how different languages and cultures “symbolize” things. And yes, the rooster looke familiar. Cocorico!
(How do you say that in Hokkien and in Malay?)
