I painted Mr Skull during the presidential elections to stay awake to follow the results and it was the longest week.
I was given the painting of the skull head from my friend Gorka, to use as a recycled canvas but I decided to keep the original painting and hack it instead like a collaboration.
I changed the background colour, added the USD100 note and added the universal basic income message by Andrew Yang on it. Then I added a gold leaf tooth to Mr Skull and a gold zipper in the background to symbolize change. Basically evolve or die.

Totally. I think it’s a good experiment to make. I’m sure the only way to see is by changing something because the current system is definitely not working.

I think you are looking at this from a very different perspective. The point is everyone gets the universal basic income regardless of need. Where the money will come from I’m sure will be an issue to be tried and tested.

Brilliant and the government doesn’t GIVE us social security. It’s OUR money…we put the money in to the funds. And people can abuse the system because all the other systems are broken and and an entire group of people are kept poor and uneducated on purpose. I think it would be great, Tiffany, if we could see what it was like to live in a just society where creativity was unleashed and allowed to exist and was appreciated, instead of FEARED..

Where does the money come from to pay for a universal basic income and how do we decide who qualifies and who does not ? A great many people already get assistance from regular Social Security retirement, Social Security Disability, Social Security poverty income, Medicaid, Section 8 housing and food stamps. Over half the population pays no income tax and get about $2,000 per child benefit.
