Melanie Blatt for Portrait of the week.

I battled and fought with this portrait of Melanie Blatt for Portrait of the week. I’ve been told that some faces are hard to capture and this would be an example of this.
There’s also a point when you have to stop painting and feel it is finished without over working it.
So much to learn from portraits and I’m enjoying the growth, both technically and personally.
Looking forward to the next challenge on Sunday. ❤️
