What’s your covid strategy?
Day 8/30 of covid lockdown. So our lockdown has been extended from 14 days to 30 days. I’m feeling a bit more anxious now as the number of infected cases are rising exponentially and to know that i go to the same supermarkets as them is worrying. I’m definitely going to start rationing food so i dont have to go out till this is over.
Sketch of the day no 1318 in my moleskine sketchbook is of a bottle patron coffee liqueur.
Perfecting the art of drinking.

So well brought up!! I only like to snack π€¦ββοΈ

(Though I can imagine the delicious temptations of food tidbits everywhere…)
April 2, 2020 at 17:26
Ahhhh. Snacking… πI never do that. An old fashioned French education: “On ne mange pas entre les repas…” ππ»π
April 2, 2020 at 07:20
I just have less hours of eating, cuts out the unnecessary snacking
March 31, 2020 at 20:33
LOL. Don’t fast too much, you’re already slim. π
March 31, 2020 at 08:17
Intermittent fasting is good plan

Online is still working here, but I just talked to a friend in Paris, the on-line shopping systems are down… You now have to queue for hours and they only let 50 people in at the same time. Dystopia has caught up with us… Fais attention Γ toi mon amie… ππ
March 28, 2020 at 16:41
Online system is full capacity and not taking orders but some obscure ones are. I think i have enough food for now. Not going to the supermarket anytime soon. Its too scary an ordeal.
March 28, 2020 at 00:54
It is worrisome. Yet, don’t let fear get the better of you. We will pull through. You have the strength. Having said that, we just completed our first supermarket on-line purchase… Took us about 2 hours until we learnt the ways around the system. I’m sure you have that option in KL?

Thanks, Tiffany! Stay safe, yourself. I literally do not feel fearful, I know this is needed to heal humanity’s relationship to Mother Earth. Though I’ve been trying to compose something to post with regards to what Does come up. Real deep stuff. And you’re right, I notice people are even more friendly and caring than usual these days, which is wonderful! β€

Its a crazy nonsense decision. I don’t know what to say
March 26, 2020 at 16:31
But that’s just it – it isn’t just “old people.” The publicized numbers show those over 60 or with underlying health issues are the biggest at-risk group, but the global 20,000+ dead include people from all age groups who were otherwise healthy before being struck with coVID19.
What happens if the biggest affected group becomes people in their 50s? 40s? Who gets to decide who lives and who dies? Death panels? Life Lotteries?
And in THIS country, it’s not simply because of limited resources but economic losses…because we don’t learn from our mistakes. π¦
March 26, 2020 at 16:02
Omg that is horrible. But it is a decision people will have to make even at hospitals like in Italy. Not enough beds so old people have to sacrifice and die
March 26, 2020 at 15:13
Ever see the movie, “Outbreak” with Dustin Hoffman and Cuba Gooding, Jr where the government’s best option is to bomb a town of infected people to stop the pandemic spread of the motaba virus?
Welcome to the U.S. where fiction comes to life!
No bombs, but we’ve jumped the shark as some [clueless] elected officials are spouting the nonsense that seniors/grandparents should sacrifice their lives for their family’s future. What this means is “we’re losing money and need to get back to business as usual, so if you get sick, just die and stop whining.” Some think seniors should RETURN to the workforce and do the “public” jobs until a vaccine is found, thereby allowing younger people to stay home, self-quarantined. Others believe seniors should cease seeking medical attention and draining an already overloaded (and hugely inadequate) healthcare system. (The economy must be saved! /snark)
We are so screwed.
But, it’s 8 am and I’m having a screwdriver with breakfast because orange juice is good for you! π π
Stay safe, my friend!

Thanx for sharing this advice. I agree with you, i do practice meditation, if not I think my fear and stress levels would go through the roof but it does not mean i dont feel fearful or anxious about the situation. The positive is social connections have been strengthened and gratitude. Take care and stay safe Bela π

Haha i think so, this is turning out to be an apt covid series
March 26, 2020 at 02:11
Hang in there. We have to just make the best of things and hope that this will pass soon. Blessings…
March 25, 2020 at 23:59
I do not participate in the collective fear wave. Part of protecting the immune system is to do some sort of ‘spiritual’ practice that keeps us from caving into fear. Take care, Tiffany. This, too shall pass. β€

I think perfecting the art of drinking will soon be a covid strategy all of us will be adopting. πΊπ»π₯π·π₯πΈπΉπ₯΄
