To have my artwork in the same magazine as Jane Goodall, my childhood icon is the best gift so far.
I went to work in Tanzania as a marine research assistant when I was 20 and that was all because of Jane Goodall’s inspiring story. I have since given up that dream of fieldwork. However with my art, I wish to continue doing something for the environment and wildlife. And being quite spiritual, seeing Jane popping up all over this year could be an important message for my journey.

I remember in Elementary School watching a documentary on Jane Goodall and her work among the chimpanzees.
