It’s been a haze free weekend and I’m grateful for the fresh air. It doesn’t mean the forest fires from plantation clearing have stopped, it just means the wind direction has changed. Trees and nature should be protected and respected.
There are many heritage trees in Penang which I love and here’s one of them that is found in both the old and new worlds.
Sketch of the day no 1265 in my moleskine sketchbook is of a coral tree.

You’re too kind. I only hear and listen. And have note with great interest how you constantly search to strengthen your ties with your own heritage. That is very good. (Sorry Fiona couldn’t make it for Hungry Ghost, but it’s still OK for mid-Autumns, right? π

It’s a good way to honor the trees; by sketching them. I’m glad you had a day of fresh air. ~Crystal
