Sketch of the day no 1252 in my moleskine sketchbook is of a Borneo pygmy elephant. They are the smallest elephants in the world. They are roughly half the size of African elephants with bigger ears, longer tails and rounder bodies 🐘

Size : 1.7 – 2.5m
Weight : 2500 kg

A gentleman in a shop on Blvd St-Germain told me there is a rhino gang operating in France and Europe. They don’t poach, they steal old rhino heads hunted years ago and sell the horn!

They are endangered because of poaching and lost of habitat so not much can be done if that continues m

Now, 1,500? That’s way too low for survival of the species. Will man(un)kind never learn? 😦
