I guess they managed to survive through the dinosaur age. They are one of the oldest animals.

Is it difficult to capture them straight on? I mean, looking the animal in the face? You did a great job, and I think this perspective would be hard to do.

The population numbers are definitely not being preserved. Without enough protected land for them, it’s hard to keep them from disappearing.

Cute animals. 🙂 Strange that there should be tapirs in South America too. But no elephants. I wonder why… (Another of my crazy questions). Be good Kawanku. Enjoy home.

The Malayan Tapirs are only found in se Asia. Southern Thailand Indonesian and Malaysia
