There are 4 occasions. Plus the day they departed, and just before Chinese New year.

Yes indeed but ours is a whole month. It is also different from all souls day which is in April. That day we offer food, prayers etc but they don’t get to roam freely on earth.

A very nice drawing to honour the ghosts. And a nice tradition. It does look like the day of the Dead here in Mexico, when people take food and liquor to the graveyard and decorate the graves of their families, spend the night. And after a whiff of air tells them the ghosts have eaten, the living can eat.
