I realize that. It is good. Saatchi was once a great power in Advertising. Which as much as I loved Advertising still remains a tad superficial. So it is good that they encourage the arts. 🙂

Oh i didn’t know how much it costs. That is indeed unrealistic for foreign artists. No i went to see and to do some research. Thanx for the heads up x

Did you exhibit there?
I find it very expensive to exhibit there as an artist. Rebbeca Wilson, the chief curator of Saatchi, has certainly invited me 6-8 times to exhibit there and also in America, but I could not afford it. Stand prices started at $ 1700 / british pound and of course you also had to pay for the picture transport, the round-trip flights and the stay. You may buy there directly from the artist, but there are also duties to pay. So you have to sell very expensive and / or very much, so you do not make a loss.

Interesting that Saatchi should dabble in art. I only saw them as a – once – competitor when I was at Ogilvy. Cheers.
