I like the symbol of carrying milk to the temple. π
In Siem Reap, one morning at breakfast, we saw one of the waitresses bring “breakfast” to the altar of Buddha. Simple offerings. A glass of water, and maybe a bit of rice. Of course she “high Waied” the altar before placing the food. π

Yes it is true. It is inclusive. Not just for Indians. I take part in it too but i just carry milk to the temple

Just looked up Thaipusam Penang. My, my. I’d heard of/seen accounts of it in India. Impressive.
