A lovely lamp. Happy Diwali too. Made me think of the 8th of December in Lyon when people put candles on all the windowsills to commemorate Mary saving the city from the Plague in the middle ages. And everyone goes out in the street in the old tow. Braving the cold of December. Strange how different and distant cultures can “join” on similar rites. π
