Yes, and yes. So we hope. Can’t really brush away the helplessness we feel. And dates have a nagging way of sneaking in. Today would have been the young man’s birthday. Last year, this very day, they were in Paris and decided to get married. This coming October. It will be another hard day. Thank you for your words Kawanku. (How do you say that in Hokkien?) 🙂

All well? Well… working on it. Daughter Gini has just landed in Bali. Then Nusa Penida, then Lombok. I hope a different environment will help her sort things out. It’s been four months last wednesday. I wish it had been four years. C’est un tristesse infinie, kawan saya. But… I saw Bulan in full, a few days ago. In between two clouds and bouts of rain. Hadn’t seen her in a long, long time. She sent me a smile. Yours, maybe? 😉
