I like Henry Moore’s scluptures, sketches and the way he shows that emptiness is a full universe. Thanks for sharing ! 🙂 Your sketch is very interesting 🙂

So am I. Though I love Art, I had this nagging feeling. You know, going to the MOMA in NY (Which I love) and realize that all “Modern” artists are dead. Now we (I) can (re)work on the idea of Art as re-presentation of the world. (and that includes writing; fiction as re-construction) 😉
(I know, I’m a bit crazy, but what can I do?)
A bientôt.

I’m glad it may you reflect on the meaning of art today.

I like your sketch. ‘like Moore too. And the quote even more.
I sometimes wonder about the “death” of Art after Picasso and others de-constructed it. At least Art as a representation. Who would hire Frans Hals today for a portrait?
But then this quote made me understand better: Art is the only way we can re-construct the world by re-presenting it… (No I haven’t smoked anything strange) 🙂
Merci comme toujours.

It certainly does! You might enjoy the sculptures on my last post. They are incredible and certainly evoke a response.
