Happy Monday and hello February.
Love blooms in its own time.
Sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is of a pink flower.
If you can identify what this plant is please do let me know! I saw it in the garden shop in Malaysia but it didn’t have a label on it and I forgot to ask them.

I don’t think we have camellia in Malaysia. It could be an African violet hybrid.

Brian doesn’t seem to think it’s an African violet. One day when I return to the nursery I will have to ask them

Not an African violet, the leaves are smaller, darker and a bit hairy.
I think Andy is right. Just googled camelias and they look very similar.
(I think my mother had some in the garden of our house in Normandy.)

Bunga indah. 🙂 A true measure of your good taste.
I wish I knew what the flower was. I know you always like to put
the scientific name.
Bonne semaine Kawanku.
And a happy St-Valentine…
