I drink 2 coffees a day normally but one Vietnamese coffee probably = 5 coffees
Sketch of the day in my monologue art journal is of Vietnamese drip coffee.
Guaranteed to make you bounce off the walls.

Funny you should say that. Both counts. About the soul of a nation. Agree totally. But about Redemption. It is a word I use a lot. In fiction, whether written or filmed, I look for stories that offer some kind of redemption. Don’t always find it. But (hey Paulo Coelho, stop getting into my head) that the world is so dark sometimes, that it would be terrible without the possibility of redemption… Hmmm. You really are a Time Being. I bow to you. 🙂

I think sometimes a country loses their soul along the way but eventually will find it again. Theres always redemption.

An interesting observation. I have no idea how Vietnam has evolved recently. Then one might argue that a lot of people/countries seem to have lost their soul already?

The Vietnamese are very clever to gear themselves towards commerce. U guess they had to play catchup. They need to slow down a bit before they lose their souls.

Bounce off the walls. Love your expressions. Need to write them downin my head for the next episode of Stéphanie’s adventures.
And about coffee in Vietnam, yes it’s recent, and it was a strategic decision of the country. Based on soil, heat, humidity studies. Very clever.

Wow I did not know this. I thought they always had coffee. Yes the fumes r enough to make me bounce off the walls

If you get high on the fumes of champagne, I can only imagine drinking Vietnamese coffee.
(Vietnam is a great example of well-thought out development. They started planting coffee only a few years back. 15, maybe 20 years, and they are now the world’s second coffee exporter, right behind Brazil, displacing Colombia)
