Today’s sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal are red poppy flowers I saw in a meadow in Turkey. The flowers were in full bloom and so beautiful. The meadow was alive with colours of red.
Don’t grieve. Anything you lose comes back in another form, Quote by Rumi

Super nice. My favourite is basil but it’s really delicate and precious to grow. They never make it.

June 11, 2015 at 16:26
Chiggers? What on earth is that? 😳
June 10, 2015 at 18:32
There are no pesticides in Turkish meadows. We all got bit my chiggers!!
June 10, 2015 at 18:30
Is that a song?
June 8, 2015 at 23:12
The wheat fields of my childhood were full of “coquelicots”. Now, with so much herbicides and pesticides and fertilizers, it has become rare to see “coquelicots” in the country side. Shame. Do check the song it is a very old one. And lovely.
Enjoy all your remaining minutes, seconds of London!
Be good
Brian

I admire Rumi and poppies both. Thank you.
June 1, 2015 at 22:03
So nice to have Rumi besides such beauty! Love and red things that quicken the fires of what we are: eyes springing outward into that abyss where lover’s discover their love.
June 1, 2015 at 21:24
The poppies are beautiful and it’s hard to think about those I love being around in a different form that I can’t touch, hug, kiss, hear, laugh with, play with, dance with, have fun with and sit next to. Nothing else matters, not really.

A favorite flower.
