This is my first attempt at painting something different. I’ve been painting a lot of animals and flowers. This is my version of abstract landscape titled ‘Wanderlust’. I’m hoping to do more abstract contemporary work and experiment around to see what I like best.
It’s a mixture of my love of the sea and surfing, the evil eye from my trip to Istanbul, Turkey

This is great! I love your use of colour and shapes to capture your love of surf and sea. I’ve always been a huge fan of abstract art, so you’ve got my vote. Keep up the good work!

I think you should! That would be my advice to you and you will be surprised. Somebody challenged me to face my fears and it has helped me a lot. I can’t say it worked overnight, it is a work in process but I’m less ‘precious’ with my work and I know I have improved just by putting them out there 🙂
July 2, 2014 at 10:41
Ture! Maybe I should put some up on here… Thanks
July 2, 2014 at 10:37
I had the same problem and still kind of have that but I decided last year to say what the heck, let’s do it even before it is perfect or it will never ever materialise 🙂
July 2, 2014 at 10:35
No problem! Your works great, wish my art was to that standard and I have the confidence to put it out there 🙂
