Today’s sketch of the day is of this little dog that bit me in Myanmar exactly a week ago. I’ve had my tetanus shot and he didn’t look like he had rabies but I was still and am still a bit scared. I haven’t been to the doctors, I know I should but I’m scared of doctors too.
Myanmar is a place full of dogs. They are everywhere. This one is not a stray. It belongs to someone who lives next to a temple in Bagan. I startled it whilst it was sleeping and it woke up and attacked me. I got bitten twice. Once on my right ankle and once on my left heel. It isn’t the best place to be bitten either considering I had to walk barefoot most of the time and climb stairs.
Now, I’m going back to be in denial.

Thank you! Dogs can be unpredictable i guess. Still love them 🙂

Strange way to show their ”affection” some times, those man’s best friends, hey? Take care!

Thank you Melanie. I still love dogs but I will be more careful in the future! 🙂

I love animals and I know dogs often have unexpected reactions… unfortunately for us! Take care and be careful, please! Stay healthy and optimistic, too! cheers, Mélanie

He is a cute little bugger! I must have startled him. I am much better, thank you! I’m just frustrated I can’t exercise but it’s a great excuse ;p

What a little bugger, looks so cute in your drawing. I hate it that dogs bite. Seems wrong. Hope you feel better now.

I know. I still like dogs. I’m still afraid of doctors, not dogs ;p

At least you know where the dog lives. I understand your reluctance to go to the doctor. I am terrified of them as well. I hope you are okay and that you feel safe soon. 😦 Great picture of the dog. Some dogs are like that. Maggie will often go for you if you wake her up. It’s a reflex action with her so we don’t go near her when she’s sleeping, but call her instead. Scary. Be well.

Sorry to hear that…get well quickly (and a tetanus shot was smart).

Thank you. x

Ouch. Feel for both the pain in your foot and worry in your head. Hope the bite heals quickly and time heals your concerns.

I will become well again. I am accident prone. The bit is not worse than when i fell off my bike in Bali a few years ago. I still love dogs 🙂

My “like” is for your sketch, which showes a friendly looking dog. I wish you all the best and that everything will become well again 😀

So sorry that you were bitten by a dog — and I’m glad you’ve had a rabies shot. I hope the bite heals nice and quickly.
